Forever Young Ranch is a family-run ranch in Elbert, Colorado, where agriculture, family, and learning come together. We have cattle, Meishan pigs and various other animals that call our ranch home. We're raising our kids alongside our animals and staying connected to where our food comes from. For us, ranching is about family, hard work, good animals, and building something worth passing down.

    There is something pretty incredible about watching the food on your plate grow right outside your windows. Nicie and Ramba gave birth to these two steers right here on the ranch, and we have had the privilege of watching them grow every day since. Raising your own food creates a different kind of connection. You know how they were raised, what they ate, how they were treated, and the life they lived. Someday these two will feed families in our community and there is something really special about knowing their entire store. Know youe food. Know where it came from!!!!

    You can take them out of the wile, teach them to trust us, give them a pasture and a herd of their own...but every once in a while, you catch a glimpse of that wild spirit still living right beneath the surface. Kiona may have been born in a BLM facility rather than on the open range like her dam, and sometimes, especially when she takes off across the pasture, you can see exactly where she came from.
